Measurement and anaysis of electrocardiograms
Zimáková, Jana ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
The aim of my barchelor’s thesis was to become familiar with the methology of measurement of electrocardiographic signals, their description and subsequent analysis. During the measurement I used a computer system Biopac and program Matlab. The work is divided into three parts. The first part is focused on general problems of the heart activity, the generation, measurement and description of ECG curves. The second part is devoted to a description of the systém Biopac – recovery, procedure for the measurement and results measured sleep and stress ECG. The third part describes the actual processing of measured signals in Matlab.
Analysis of the spectrum of recorders from different materials and with other different parameters
Kaplan, Václav ; Mojdl, Edgar (referee) ; Jirásek, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis research focuses on the phenomena and the properties that affect the very origin of the tone in the recorder and the subsequent character of the frequency spectrum. These include the dimensions, material and mechanical properties. There are several soprano and alto recorders measured in this thesis. The research is enriched by working with hand-made cylindrical samples and a brief comparison of three exotic flutes. The conclusion is a comparison table and the final summary.
Analysis of Resonance Cabinets of Different Types of Acoustic Guitars
Juhaščik, Lukáš ; Musil, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jirásek, Ondřej (advisor)
Bacherlor‘s thesis deals with spectral analysis of guitar body. The aim of the study is the place of resonantion modes at whole body, its frequency and the impact to the final sound.
Automatic Generation of Steps for DDR
Skála, František ; Glembek, Ondřej (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this work is to draft methods suitable for automatic creation of step-files from music files for a DDR computer dance game. This problem is divided into two main parts - beat detection, thus determining the song tempo, and determination of steps itselves. Beat detection is based on detection of energy growths in particual frequency subbands and following statistical alignment of results. Step creation works similarly, but it focuses on detection of all intense moments of music and contains a logic for placing steps into different directions. Testing by users showed that application has the potential to address players seeking set of simple steps for their favourite songs. The quality of beat detection gives field for application of these methods even beyond scope of example application. This document also suggest a few possible improvements of used methods.
Detection of the retinal nerve fibre layer
Kunc, Martin ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This thesis is deals with the nerve fibre layer in the colour ophthalmology images of retina. The thesis describes how can we use finding of nerve fibre layer and how was it solved in the past. In the thesis are proposed the methods that are based on processing and scoring frequency spectrums of individual sample of retina. At first here are described the methods of detection on the artificial generated samples that just simulate the nerve fibre layer. Then the thesis concentrates on processing of real images of retina. Because of the bloodstream, that depreciates processing at real images, are all surveyed samples are chosen manually. Except detection the nerve fibre layer itself, the thesis also deals with determination of direction their dissemination.
Intelligent Test Procedures Low-Tension Traction Drives with Induction Motors
Nesvadba, Martin ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Novák, Jaroslav (referee) ; Duroň,, Jiří (referee) ; Singule, Vladislav (advisor)
This dissertation thesis is focused on the problem of the noise measurement and construction of the noise test station what was also interest of my employer - company Kollmorgen,sr.o. This testing station should be located directly in the assembly line with target of the noise motor s identification. On base of these measured values and implemented intelligent testing procedures, we should be able to identify real root cause of the noise The noise of electrical machines is actual issue. There is a big pressure for low-noise driving system construction created by many end-customers. We can achieve these requirements with 100% quality of all parts of current product, implementation of noise testing station and also with design optimization of the current product. Basic testing procedures of induction motors were showed in first part of this work (chapter 4.1.). These procedures are able to provide good picture of the motor condition. For the motor noise measurements was constructed a workplace including noise box with acoustical absorption up to 30dB what allowed the workplace implementation directly into the motor assembly line. Testing techniques and frequency analysis procedures were implemented sequentially with the target of the test evaluation improvement. After the detailed analyze of the motor noise root causes was performed check of the current motor design with respect of the “noiselessness” motor construction principles. As next step was created the motor prototype with optimized construction with target of the motor noise reduction. This optimized motor was tested and compared with standard motor design.
Analysis of intracardiac electrogram of heart arrthytmias in the spectral domain
Karlíková, Adéla ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
The most important aspect of successful ablation and destruction of arrhythmia is to find the place where arrhythmia spreads. The site of initial activation can be found by conventional or complex techniques. This thesis describes a new conventional method that can also be applied in practice. It was found that the closer is catheter to the place of the initial activation the more dominant frequency shifts to the higher values. We will use this fact in creating an algorithm which will compare frequency values in the frequency spectrum. This algorithm will also assess how far is the catheter located from the site of the origin of the arrhythmia. In the conclusion of the thesis is an evaluation of the measured clinical data and a comparison of the effectiveness of the method.
Evaluation and modelling of Traffic Noise
Černoch, Adam ; Spies, Karel (referee) ; Kudrna, Jan (advisor)
The task of the master's thesis is introduction with the problems of traffic noise, focusing on noise from road traffic. There is a description what is the noise, how it is formed, its resources and what are the methods of measuring. The following are the various noise reduction measures such as noise barriers and low noise pavements. The main attention is devoted to the noise generated at the tire / road that is reduced by these pavements. The practical part describes the implemented measurements on individual sections at various locations in our country. The measurement was carried by slightly modified method CPX with reference tire directly at the vehicle. The main aim was to evaluate the measurement data, make comparison of different low-noise surfaces with each other and with the commonly used surfaces. Then quantification of the rate reduction of the noise emission for a given section and verification of input data for noise modeling. In conclusion, the obtained results are summarized and based on them were confirmed very good acoustic properties with the recommendation to continue with measurements in the future.
Plethysmography for retinal video processing
Plavcová, Daniela ; Valterová, Eva (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
Sight is one of the five human senses and is very important for exploring near and far surroundings. However, this is prevented by various eye defects, which may be related to the vascular system of the retina and the pulsations that are observable on it. This work deals with the study of the relationship between the mentioned pulsations and glaucoma. To search for connections between these two aspects, video recordings from the retina are used, the pulsation of which is further worked in the form of a 1D signal, especially in the spectral region.
